The Innovation Hub increases the power of innovation at UZH and accelerates the translation of research into practice.

Through the Innovation Hub, the University of Zurich specifically promotes strategically relevant research areas in the innovation initiatives – focal points that provide important impetus in the Canton of Zurich and beyond.
Basic research serves as the ideal breeding ground for discoveries and innovations. Many successful inventions at UZH lead to new products that benefit society. UZH has an excellent research culture, with consideration always being given to the economic exploitation of outstanding research.
