Developing new products & services for healthy longevity

Case study: Program Wholesome Living

What are the challenges of the ageing population and how can financial, physical, mental, and social well-being be improved?

  • Developing new products or services for healthy longevity is a complex and multi-faceted process. Students and early career researchers from UZH, IAD Interaction Design and Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) are rethinking growing old in our time, together with their mentors, coaches and the project partners UBS and AXA
  • The project WHOLESOME LIVING focuses on managing and exploring life-long data around physical and mental health, personal finances, and retirement planning
  • Over a period of 12 months the multi-disciplinary teams work on developing different digital models and prototypes, including data streams such as fitness levels or financial health data

WHOLESOME LIVING Business Partners

  • UBS
  • AXA

«Especially when it comes to pension planning, financial planning and long-term planning, we realize ever more that it is actually the view of the young people that we need. »
Jackie Bauer, Economist in the UBS Chief Investment Office
