A personalized medicine platform for cancer diagnosis and therapy selection, based on molecular profiling of a patient’s tumour cells before and after ex-vivo drug testing

In the era of personalized medicine, genomics– based diagnosis of a patient’s disease is becoming ever more common practice. However, the optimal ways to harness these data and ensure that they are implemented appropriately in clinical settings are still controversial.

With the 4iLabs project, Gabriele and his team, envision to provide health-care professionals with a patient-tailored report containing therapy recommendations based on molecular profiling of a patient’s tumour cells before and after ex-vivo drug testing and novel tissue section diagnostics.
