Nerai

Nerai pioneers genome editing engineering by creating novel tools of greater specificity, improved safety, and optimized efficacy. Through a proprietary AI-powered high-throughput protein evolution platform, Nerai designed libraries of CRISPR-based editors, each able to precisely recognize unique DNA targets, unlocking novel indications of high unmet medical needs.

Nerai is a Spin-off of the University of Zurich. To advance this project, Kim Marquart, co-founder of Nerai, was supported by the UZH Entrepreneur Fellowship program from the year 2024-2026.
